Our Story

Hi there! We’re Jason and Christine, the husband-and-wife team behind Sonoma Wine Rides. What started as our shared love for wine, scenic country drives, and connecting with people has grown into a heartfelt local business that we’re proud to run together—just the two of us.

We created Sonoma Wine Rides to make exploring wine country easy, fun, and personal. No big tour groups, no rushed schedules—just great wine, beautiful views, and genuine hospitality.  When you book with us, you’re not just signing up for a ride, you’re spending the day with locals who truly love what they do.

Meet Jason & Christine

Jason and Christine

Jason is the friendly face you’ll often see behind the wheel, making sure every guest has a smooth, fun ride through Sonoma’s wine country. He knows the local roads, wineries, and hidden spots by heart, and his easygoing style makes everyone feel like they’re touring with a friend. Whether he’s sharing a story or snapping a great group photo, Jason brings the perfect balance of professionalism and relaxed charm.

Christine wears two hats—and she loves them both. She thrives in her long-time career with Safeway, where she brings her attention to detail and bright personality to her team. When she’s not at Safeway, she steps into her favorite role at Sonoma Wine Rides as our CCO—Chief Charcuterie Officer. Christine’s passion for presentation, delicious snacks, and thoughtful touches shines through in every tour. She makes sure each wine experience comes with something beautiful (and tasty) to enjoy along the way.

Together, we blend our skills, passions, and Sonoma hospitality to give guests a friendly, down-to-earth wine adventure. Every ride is personal, heartfelt, and made better with great snacks—thanks to our CCO!

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: create a relaxed and personal way to enjoy Sonoma County’s incredible wine scene. We love showing off small, family-owned wineries and local favorites that make our region so special—all while ensuring you can sip safely and travel stress-free.

A Few of Our Favorites

  • Favorite Wine: Zinfandel - especially when it's bold and full of Sonoma character.

  • Favorite Place: Lake Tahoe, our "magic spot." We love escaping there for fresh air, mountain views and a little time together away from the hustle.

  • Favorite Way to Unwind: Traveling the world and exploring new food and wine destinations- always looking for inspiration to bring back home.
